Non-Emergency Medical Services
Ambu-Med EMS Website Development and Deployment
Ambu-Med EMS came to Bordertown Digital ready to establish its first professional website. The client already had a clear design direction in mind and our role was to take the client's ideas, organize them into a functional website, and bring the design to life. The finished site gives patients, families and healthcare providers a clear place to learn about the company and request additional information.

Unlike projects that begin without an established design direction, Ambu-Med EMS already had a specific look and structure in mind.
We worked from that vision and transformed it into a responsive, functional website. This included refining the layout, organizing the content, building the individual sections, and making sure the website worked properly across mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
The goal was not to replace the client’s ideas. It was to execute them well and ensure the final website was professional, easy to navigate, and practical for the people using it.
Establishing the Company’s Online Presence
Before this project, Ambu-Med EMS did not have a dedicated website.
Potential clients and healthcare partners had limited opportunities to learn about the company online before calling or contacting the business directly. The new website provides a central place to explain the company’s services, communicate important information, and make the organization easier to find and understand.
The website was structured around the questions visitors are most likely to have:
- What transportation services are available?
- Who are the services intended for?
- How can someone request more information?
- How can a healthcare provider or family member contact the company?
Website Planning and Content Organization
Although the client had a design direction in mind, the website still required thoughtful planning to ensure the content and functionality supported the business.
We organized the website around Ambu-Med EMS’s services, audience, and contact process. Information was divided into clear sections so visitors could understand the company without navigating through unnecessary pages or overwhelming amounts of text.
The website was planned for several types of users, including patients, family members, case managers, healthcare providers, and organizations coordinating transportation.
User Experience Design
Medical transportation information needs to be clear and easy to access.
The user experience was built around simple navigation, readable content, and visible calls to action. Visitors can quickly review the available services, learn more about the company, and find the appropriate way to make an inquiry.
The experience was also adapted for smaller screens, allowing users to access the website and complete the contact form from a mobile device.
Interface Development
The client’s preferred design was translated into a polished website interface.
We used organized content sections, consistent spacing, readable typography, and clear visual hierarchy to maintain the client’s intended look while improving usability.
The final interface feels professional enough for healthcare organizations while remaining approachable for patients and families.
Contact Form Implementation
A contact form was implemented to give visitors a convenient way to request information about transportation services.
The form collects the basic details the company needs to respond while discouraging visitors from including private or sensitive medical information.
The form experience also adjusts based on certain selections, helping the company receive more relevant information without presenting every visitor with unnecessary fields.
Spam Prevention
Spam prevention measures were added to help reduce automated and unwanted form submissions.
A honeypot system was implemented to detect common spam bots without requiring legitimate visitors to complete an additional verification challenge. This keeps the inquiry process simple while providing an added layer of protection for the website.
Website Development
The website was developed as a responsive and performance focused platform that could support the client’s immediate needs while providing room for future updates.
Development covered the full build: responsive layouts and mobile-friendly navigation, the service content sections, the contact form with its conditional fields and spam prevention, and the technical groundwork — search engine metadata, accessibility, secure form handling, and performance — needed for the site to hold up in production.
Hosting and Technical Support
Bordertown Digital also provides hosting and ongoing technical support for the website.
This gives Ambu-Med EMS a single point of contact for website updates, hosting, maintenance, and technical issues. The company does not have to manage separate providers or handle the technical side of keeping the website online.
